Greetings from Green Drinks KL!
Thank you for participating in our previous session, Green Drinks KL: How can we compost in high rise buildings and landed property.  We hope you have enjoyed the event and gain some insights into the world of composting. Your presence has helped to make this event a success and your enthusiasm and positive spirit have helped make our time together both productive and enjoyable.
As a short recap, compost heap is one of the simplest way of making compost. Miss Lee has shared and demonstrated the steps of making a compost heap consisting layers of leaves or grass and kitchen waste. Condo composting can be done by changing leaves with yellow soil. If we lack of materials, we can always ask our neighbors, or go to the wet market and the park to gather the items. For those who plan on reducing their food waste but do not have the means to do so, you can drop your waste at community-based composting groups like Kebun-Kebun Bangsar and TTDI The Edible Community Garden. Just remember to give them a call first before doing so.
We have also uploaded the whole session in our YouTube channel. Do check it out below!
If you are keen on learning what you can do with all the compost, do come to our next session on Green Drinks KL: How to grow your own food. In this session, we are pleased to invite Miss Tan Siew Luang, an advocate of organic farming and the organic farming coordinator of Centre for Environment, Technology and Development, Malaysia (CETDEM), to be our guest speaker for the evening. Let us learn how to grow our own healthy food right at our very own compound!
